Ever had an angry surfer show up at your office?

Working for other companies we had everything from death threats, to threats of being injected with hiv, but never anyone at the door.

Anyone here had a surfer with a mental problem show up at their office?

Nope, but I know a program owner that that wanted to show up at a customers door when he Charged Back 6 months of rebills - happened to live right down the street from him.....

Didn't want to hurt him or anything stupid, but it would have been funny to have his wife answer the door, and have the program owner do a "customer satisfaction survey".....

haha.. pretty funny. I worked with a company that did some spyware type stuff. They would get threats like crazy. I'm surprised no one ever came to the office and opened up fire on everyone. There were some pretty threatening emails. People would threaten families etc.

I have had customers show up at the office when were pissed off and we had to chill them out... not a big deal.

Worst was a ex-boyfriend of a girl at the office that came in wanting to physically assualt her after she dumped him on the phone. Luckily for her, he pulled that shit on a day when the NOC crew was there and he was held until the police came and hauled him out.

Next day we had a keypad lock installed to prevent unauthorized access......

yea i havn't had one in years...but back in the day with larger companies, handling customer support..the things said were truly chilling

When I started working for CCBill back in the day, one of the first impressions I had was of this very non-descript, no signage, barely a posted address, office building, with magnetic entry via access IDs.
