I think the inherent problem with the xbiz awards are two fold.
1. The nomination process is basically a complete joke.
2. A very large chunk of the industry See's the event as staged and rigged awards. It does not matter if they are or are not of course, and any theories of why people think it is so does not really matter. Problem is in the perception, and once a large number of people perceive that it is even if it isn't they are forever tainted and devalues the whole process.Comment

For design company of the year there were 10 Nominee's.
I designed over 100 site tours this year and also did work in the mobile market. Some of my innovations really took hold this year with a very elite client list of not only up comming programs but well established ones.
In all honesty I do not know how my company was overlooked, I am tired of wondering why. But I will tell you one thing, I took as an insult. For none you people over there to not take notice is ludicris or just plane stupid.
Some of the very people I designed for were up on your stage last night, a number of the companies nominated I done work for.
It is fucken outrageous.
It looked like alot of fun for people, I wish I was there, by all means I could have been but really ya guys hurt my pride.

dont let award shows debunk you as if "they" were any better than you, if you know your work is quality, then know that one day it will be recognized (or is recognized by the people that matter already). everything does come in time to those who are willing to keep going.

I want to give huge props to XBIZ for last nights show-
They absolutely nailed it-
I have never attended an AVN Awards Show that was as sheduled and rehearsed.
The night was fantastic from a presenters perspective-
The Hustler Lounge was the place to be last night before, during and after the awards winners were walked off stage. The industry's top dogs were all there mingling with an open barand full video of the show going on outside.
I enjoyed hanging out back there and seeing the leaders of our industry all mingle with one another.
I felt that the dancer show was great, the trailer was funny, and most of all the press line and media glitz outside made the event look larger than life-
I feel the awards went to very deserving companies and people. Kudo's to everyone at XBIZ- Alec and Ellie, Kristen,Stephen, Moe, Kristen,and of course the Moss sisters ( who looked so fabulous last night) they worked their asses off.
It was also a very nice ending seeing Jenna, Jay, Moe, and Linda at the end of the show
Some of my all time favorite people.
Well done XBIZ- I will always support your magazines, award shows and everything else you put your name on.

While I do agree that MikeW is a legend in this industry and does beautiful work, I have to say that Insane Adult Creations is BY FAR one of the best designers in the biz... his products are hot clean and beautiful, everything all the other guys wanna be with a ton of employees...
