How I doubled my SE traffic

Hello guys,
I'm running 2 blogs with tons of hardlink exchanges. I was programming whole night nice seo tool - link reporter - it checks all outgoing links on site for these important parametres:

- Your link partner PR
- density of Your links on partner site (important for PR transfering)
- placement of Your link in partner site (the higher in source the better)
- broken links
- report Google banned links (it is'nt good to exchange links with seo spammers)

I've removed 5 banned sites from my blog and SE traffic from google increased twice!!!

Google doesn't generally penalize or ban sites based on who links to you (which makes sense since you have little control over that), but you can be penalized based on who you link to. If you're linking to a site that gets banned for pushing-the-envelope, your site could get caught up in a "sweep" of all sites that link to the offending site. Such a linking "infraction" can result in your site getting banned (or penalized) as well.

Is this fair? ...well, perhaps not. Regardless, it means you must pay attention and choose carefully who you link to. Google obviously figures that if everyone is just indiscriminately swapping links it hurts their ability to organize their index in relevant fashion. This, of course, is one reason why link farms and web rings are generally a bad idea. You have very little control over who your page links to ? and it's very easy to inadvertently link into a bad neighborhood.

Maybe people can read that and understand how valuable your tool really can be

when domain is older then 1month has n/a page rank, has no listed pages on google then it is 99% (example: seo spammer, etc.)...rest 1% is holy shit page and with that it is not worth linkexchange

Just had a little ICQ session with ilbb - thank you for the help and the report. If anyone is looking for a program for checking links to bad sites, you should contact him. I´m buying a copy.

My google hits to one site dropped 2-300 hits a day about a week ago, just found out that a site i linked to about the same time was banned in google. Removing it now.

Go talk to ilbb, i will be worth it if you are doing SEO

Um yes it does, if you read more about Arelis2 you would have seen that it manages your links and even creates link pages, you probably read about the wrong one (IBP). However, props to Ilbb very nice tool at a very nice price.

I have to agree. The Google patent is now being implemented in phases, I've already seen them go after frame spoofing & same Ip subdomains over the last two weeks. Will be interesting to see how the bigger sites are affected.

I developed this script primmarry for checking my sites so I will need to keep it updated. Script automaticaly checks for new updates which will be for sure for free.
