    America's got talent..is the Gong show.

    Watched it last night for the first time. Very entertaining, but not a "clever" idea.
    It's basically the 1970's "The gong show" revamped. That Indian dude doing Napolian Dynomite blew me away

      Morgan (ie fired British newspaper editor) said on the radio the other day that the UK version was just the gong show for a new generation..so, at least they know it.

      There are so many shows over here that are just Candid Camera by another name too.

              yeah - totally like the gong show. I really don't like it - it's really lame.

                  Allen Funt and his son were the best! You are so right, The problem with the new hidden camera shows liked "Punk'd" is that anyone with half brain sees that there is TOO much editing.
