We all know aboy the cool mom who was sentenced to 30 years for having sex with some high school jocks

but did you know a lady in Tampa just recieved probation for hitting and killing two kids with her car in Tampa.

after she hit and killed the 5 year old and the 12 year old she hirried home and cleaned the blood off her car then went to work the next day as if nothing ever happened.

We had a similar hit and run case that caused alot of dissatisfaction and anger. A man was drinking and driving, killing a grandmother and her daughters child. He drove away but they caught him eventually.

Guess what he got, 4 years in jail. Our legal system is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar to easy on criminals.

Did you know that if you kill someone in greenland you are put in an open institution for a while then released.

Our legal system on the surface seems like an utter mess, but you must put into perspective that you only see the most sensational cases on the news, the "NEWSWORTHY" ones.

Unfortunately our news media here and all over the world in my opinion is far worse than the Criminal Justice system.

keep in mind that this was an accident followed by poor judgement in leaving the scene and not reporting it. Had there been any evidence of intent to kill or reckless disregard to safety that lead to the deaths, you can be sure she would have been charged accordingly.

-- she never was in trouble before.
--She was not driving like a bat out of hell (FHP determined her car was going 36-40mph in a 30 mph zone) and the next thing she knows her car has run over two kids in the street.
--She was a solo young white women in a predominately black neighborhood, at night.

Had they been faced with the same situation, many folks might have also freaked out and left the scene.

You fail also to consider that in the end, she did come forward. She could have never come forward. She could have denied, denied, denied and absconded to another jurisdiction. Plenty of people have done that before. Instead she came forward and accepted responsibility for her actions.

This is a tragic case, no doubt about it.

your facts are completely wrong

the accident happened at 6 PM and here in Florida ^PM is just as bright out as 12 PM

The neighborhood is not mostly black but a mixed neighborhood on border with USF (a university) check the demographics

and you statement about just finding her car just happened to hit two kids????? WTF are you serious dude?? car dont just hit people......people drive cars and hit people you cannot blame her car

she only came forward after an arrest warrant was issued from a witness writing down her plate number

no matter the case I dont care if you are a 16 year old sissy in the middle of a klan rally with a black boyfriend

if you run down and kill two little kids you stop

plain and simple

you do not go to work the next day

you do not clean blood from your veichle

The cool mom didn't only have sex, she also was giving the kids, cocaine, meth, alchohol, having parties at her house and so on. Details were left out of both stories to prove a point. I agree the legal system is fucked and it's getting worse.
