    There was a thread over a week ago showing this clip of this guys first audition on the show 'Britains Got Talent'

                      apparantly paul potts has actually trained for opera in italy and has performed in front of the popular opera artists etc, not sure if this was true but a friend said it was in the papers or something

                          Leona who won the last X-Factor was apparently well trained before aswell, and had an album out (which flopped) before her forst x-factor appearance...

                                          He may have trained but he was still working a low level job. I know a lot of people that had some training on an instrument..had piano lessons, for example, but have not had any career success out of it. I only saw a bit of the show because I didn't realise it was all happening in one week..was there a rule that he had to a true amateur who never ever sang at all? I think those bartenders had bartending training.

                                              Same. I saw it last Saturday, and thought that was it untill the following Saturday. It was Wednesday night i saw it on tv and thought wtf is this doing on, then when i checked i noticed it was actually on every weekday...
