My friends actually live in a condo in Coronado while they build in PC. They have broadband and the condo offers generator power for all the residents if/when the main power grid goes out.
The wife said the most frustrating part is the language barrier - she's finally figured out how to say a few things so she can shop, but once they hear her make her requests, they think that means she knows the language and they start taking back to her - none of which she understands, lol.
They hired a translator to go with them for big ticket item purchases. And they have a maid 8 hours a day, 6 days a week for $250 a month - THAT I could get used to!!
