It is absolutely normal to feel stoned out of your mind for about 3-4 days. Your brain has to learn to function in a whole new way.

make it through first 3 days... then your not physically addicted anymore.

I have smoked since august 9th this year...

Just keep thinkin everytimne you want a smoke, do you want to waste the time you went without the nicotine? thats what i did... i kept saying, i dont want to waste my time...

i smoke a pack of 20 or more p/day...

That sucks ... you should have realised it before it happened thought ... smoking is probably one of the worst habbits you can have beside eating fastfood everyday IMO

Thanks for the replies everyone. This is gonna be a tough battle, I might have to go out to my mom's and just lock myself up in her house for like a week and see what happens.

I'm 28, been smoking roughly half of my life, HEAVILY.

And yes, mastamindz, any links would be great, particularly ones about what the fuck to do in the first 48 hours.

I know, sucks that by the time you realize that it isn't cool looking or hip any more, it's too late, you're addicted as fuck...I eat fast food everyday as well, lol.

http://healthboards.com/ this would be a good start to do some research. Lots of good info here. I believe there are some doctors that frequent the site.
