Paysite leasing companies??

hey guys, been around here for years..

anyway i wanna start my own paysite finally, but honestly dont feel like handling all the content, etc..

Basically im wondering if there are companies out here that will let you "lease" their members area? They can control all the upsells ,etc, and i control my paysite design, billing, etc.

Basically i dont wanna buy content, deal with updates, and deal with 2257.

Im looking towards hardcore/movies..

So basically you dont want to do anything. Not a good way to do business. Those are the most important parts of a paysite, and you don't want to dedicate your time to them. Good luck.

i dont see what the big deal is?

Im gonna run my own paysite but the content end i dont wanna mess with... Rather just lease it all from a company... its pretty much like co-branding or something..

I just foward X members to the company that handles my members and i pay $x per member..

Sure it's called affiliate programs....they almost do exactly what you want

Sorry I couldn't resist...starting paysites based on lease deals just doesn't
make it worthwhile to do.....leasing content or making profit share deals
with content providers are only benefitial for the content providers. Adding
those costs on top of anything else you'll end up being the only ring in the
chain that is left without earning money

that said yes there's enough content providers and lease packages that will get
you more than enough content to start sites like that......but as I said before
once you starting doing the math you soon realize that doing that wouldn't be
a very good plan.

lease would already be more than if you would have bought all of it yourself.

i will lease out our members area, nothing in our licensing agreements about it. its all hosted on our servers and our domains.

10k a month buys you a members area built out

that depends on many variables such as niche, exclusive or not, where
you buy it, how much you buy at a time....

It can be worth looking around for sites/programs that sell their business.
With a bit of luck and patience you can get more than double the content
you would get buying it straight of the content providers. Even if the sites
are shit.....when it has decent content it can be well worth buying it.

Always check before buying it inderectly if the license is transferable
that may save you a lot of anger, dissapointments and cash

You can use feeds for your members area. Some dvd feeds offer stills you can use for the site tour. I agree with some of the other post...not the best biz plan. You need your own content and a decent bank roll to get things going.
