                          I have 100Mb/s from home, completely free. But you are right. GFY is one of the slowest sites I visit.

                                                          Scott what's your ISP? I'm guessing that's cable, down here just outside London you can't get that high on ADSL.

                                                          I know Virgin Media (formally telewest) do their 20mb cable service.

                                                              It's Virgin Media that i'm with.

                                                              Tbh, since they changed over from Telewest to Virgin Media, their service has pretty much sucked, hence why they are giving these upgrades to the broadband and tv services. (i've only had problems with the digital tv service though, broadband has been fine).

                                                              All you do is threaten them that you are leaving them and going to Sky, and they give you some extra shit to tempt you to stay...

                                                                          I have wet dreams about anything over 1mb/s . I'm in a pocket where all I can get is slow ass DSL, 5 miles in any direction and I could get 12mb/s cable - which I thought was fast as hell until reading this thread. Pity me. :D
