SmartThumbs looks more organized and the code isn't as buggy. I've seen nasty security vulnerabilities in at least one of the mentioned web applications.

I started a thread like this a couple of months ago. I decided to go foward with Smart Thumbs and couldn't be happier.

I like both scripts. They are both good for different things. Smart thumbs turbo cropper is really cool. And I like how you can resize all the thumbs in your comus database really easily.

Use both. Smart Thumbs is good for a simple fake TGP, Comus is the way to go if you want something more advanced with daily updates and stuff like that.

They are both good programs, but imho it depends on what you want to do with your tgp. I voted Comus.

What do you mean with "fake TGP"?, and why wouldn't smart thumbs not be good to update daily ?

Uhhm, LOL...

I wouldnt call 1000's of ST powered sites fake :-)
No we dont have daily updates, we have updates each x clicks.. wich is a more advanced way of rotation.
Many make loads of REAL cash using ST to run their "fake" sites :-)

Yes, Smart Thumbs lacks the ability to change the size of cropped thumbs to be really a complete script.
