    Video Ipod Owners

Who in here owns a video ipod? Is the quality of the screen worth the price?

I love it. Small, but very clear.

Do you use any bit torrents to D/L movies with it?

You can't download WITH an iPod...FYI, in case you are confused.

          Spend you some brain.

When are we going to have drinks together? We're about an hour and a half away, it's a shame we haven't done dinner or drinks or something. There are very few of us here in NC. Hit me up sometime and we can try to make some plans if you want.

No bit torrents like candyflip said, but you can rip dvds or tv shows to your pc, encode with quicktime pro or even the psp hack software and put the video on your ipod. There are also all the videos you can DL for a couple bucks each. Overall cool, but the battery life is a bit of a drag, going from 20 hours mp3 to 2 hours when playing a video.

It rocks! I love mine, although I haven't seen that much video other than a few music videos. Picture quality is very good. Perfect for a plane or a long car ride.

To be honest, the screen quality is great, but too small.

If the PSP had a hard drive it would be the perfect video player... I'm sure that's coming soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're able to find pre encoded stuff for download somewhere. But to do it seems like a lot of hassle to watch it on that little screen.

I've got a bit more room in my pocket, they could give us a bigger model and let people decide.

Maybe a Wifi iPod will be the next step. Some nice possibilities there.

And yes, it is the perfect portable video solution. Not the same in the gaming department (yet?).

That battery life is a bitch....renders it nearly useless imo.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I heart my video iPod. Will you be at the Webmaster Access show in LA? If so, I'll give you a demo.

You can buy a 4gb harddrive for the PSP

The screen quality is very good, very bright. But the batterylife isn't that great. Don't expect to watch 2 hour movies on this thing. An episode of the Simpsons works like a charm...

Wow, I didn't realize the battery life on the video IPOD would be so low. 20 hours of mp3 playing and 2 hours of video playing sucks.
