one eight, from everything you've stated here, along w/ the confirmation from Keyser, it is pretty clear HEAT didn't rip you off, nor have anything to do w/ the deal in the first place. imo he has every right to be pissed off w/ the way you started this thread, it isn't his fault you got taken by someone w/out checking into thing, much less the fact that Kandah is part of this deal (???).

anyone who has read my posts here on gfy knows i am no fan of epassporte, but even i will say that if Keyser claims to have checked the two accounts in question and publically stated that they are unrelated, then that is above reproach. while i have a big problem w/ their business model altogether and find it an unacceptable risk no way in hell Keyser is part of some plot to cover up the theft of $200... no chance.

you got played, i won't comment more on the fact that Kandah is part of this whole deal but many here will take that factor for what it is... some advice, the next time you find yourself talking w/ someone claiming to be a board personality, why don't you... ta da... ask them to come here and post something proving that fact for your benefit before getting your walleet out? thats a much safer way to know who you are really talking to friend. no hate, been burned in the past myself but personally it looks like you are fingering another of the victims here and that what sucks..

Obviously, the guy who contacted you via icq is the scammer, of course he's going to tell you he received the funds. Have you checked the whois of the domain you were trying to buy, does it match up to anything? Do you honestly think that if Heat had scammed you he would continue to post in here and defend himself?

I understand and respect your position.. but there's no way that's what happened here. No way.

All i have to go on is icq and epass. When questioned about both, the accused user lied about both. Note that he at some point tries to deny his icq nick and later gives a false epass account. Liar=scammer. Scammer=liar.

Note in our icq conversations that i answer every single question of his with 100% honesty. Why? Simple, i'm here to do business and wanted to get to the bottom of this. In this way, i establish credibility. He does the opposite.

I can't tell you how exactly this was layed out, and i wouldn't want to provide a how-to-committ-the-perfect-gfy-crime anyways.. but I'll tell you this. They are networked. And it takes a few icqs/epass acct's to make it all happen.

Note also that the VERY FIRST POST requested that he simply give his epass acct info. to receive a payment, so as to be exonerated completely. He refused to do so for hours (...while working on another epass acct to submit?) and only then was all for the idea.

Bottom line- I'm not the FBI and don't have access to epass records.. there is no way i or anyone could definitely confirm anything. Nor could we definitively confirm that pigs don't fly and Tranza's not a sig whore millionaire. Walks like a duck, talks like a duck.. duck. Get a rope.

Yep. I think he'd lie about anything possible. Do his best to avert blame while not agreeing to simple payment that would exonerate him completely as a stall tactic until he was properly prepared with an additional epass account.

one eight, i don't blame HEAT for a second not wanting to post his epassporte number here in public view, i wouldn't either. you called him out here for the first time, after totally believing someone w/out any evidence stating they were someone on icq of all places... if you had thought this stuff through a thread would have been created *before* the fact where whoever you were chatting w/ could post here and prove he is HEAT.

all of your proof seems nothing more than accusations and innuendo, and you don't really seem interested in addressing the known veracity of your 'middleman' either. ice did the right thing forcing you to change your sig, we are all about having actual proof posted here..

Agreed- i didn't take as much precaution as possible. And i take full repsonsability for that. But i DO blame heat for not cooperating. He didn't have to post. Could have icq'd the information or contacted epass. Instead he chose to lie, right off the bat and continually.. about his icq and epass info.

My problem is i can't address the known veracity of the middleman.. except to say that i spoke on icq long before posting. And Kandah wrote a complaint on my behalf (i couldn't since i didn't send the epass) which was accepted by Keyser. Does that exonerate him? You decide. I understand about proof and changed my sig immediately. But not my mind. You just have to look at the words/actions of the accused. Here's more innuendo- Innocent people act innocent. Guilty people act guilty. And that's as far as i can take this.

Um, just so you know, a bunch of people lately have been defrauded here in a similar way you were. Somebody watching this board makes up a new icq using the same name as the seller and lures the prospective buyer into sending them money. I don't have time to search for all of the threads, but there's been similar victims as you. The last thing any scammer is going to do is show his presence here after a scam,
