I used to ... when i was about 14-18 .. I was an ok street skater and i had a 5' half pipe in the backyard ... these days I just hop on my sons board every once and awhile .. i can still Ollie and grind a bit ... I set up a PVC 8' slide over the summer .. it was cool doing some rail slides .... there's is a huge skate park right behind my house ... thankfully there is a good section of woods to block any noise .... I'd love to do it more ..

I was good. Really good. Won some contests and was talking to some companies about large sponsorship (already had smaller ones) but then I hyperextended my knee and broke some other bones riding a huge vert half pipe and that was it. Didn't even walk for 3 months. It put the fear into me and I never could shake it.
Picked up a board 2 years ago and I don't like these new skinny ones. I liked the oldschool ones back in the days when Vison and Powell were on top. The board of choice was a Sam Cunningham deck, with the snub nose from Blockhead.
I need to dig up some of my old pics, scan them and post them. You guys would trip.Comment
