    The latest trend in spam... referal urls???

    I've noticed more and more that I'm getting hits to my sites with a referring url going straight to a viagra ad, or something else of the sort.

    So are these guys sending out bots to spider the web with the ref url spoofed to go to their advertisements??

    It's kinda clever, but rather annoying.

      never had that issue, but spoofing a url isnt that hard

              This is actually one of the oldest forms of spamming.

                  I heard ppl been doing that since the late 90's.
