They did the exact same thing to me (www.christineconners.com) @ the end of May and a girl named Bri aka (www.kelliyoung.com) back in Feb or so. Stupid on my part for being a trusting person? Yes. Onemodelplace was a great thing for me, until this happened.
It's a widely known fact that I don't work with their site. I shot with them once, will never again. I am sucking up my mistakes, working on my own thing, and moving on. It's all you can do. I am making sure the quality is 100x better than the $250 camera they use because I am using a real photographer.
The best thing about it is, the pics of me on that site are so poor compared to some of the stuff that I'm working on that people usually don't even know that their site is really me.
I'm sorry to hear that they're still fucking up people's lives though but you know, some people have no conscience and never change.Comment

I did read it and it's pretty standard, but as I'm sure you realize, just about any contract you sign your rights away if you're paid for the shoot.
And as stated in the last post, I did basically do so. I wasn't complaining about it, I was just reinforcing the point being made by this thread.
Nothing I can do about it, I just sort of ignore it now and tell people to fuck off when they come up to me and call me Christine.

Look... all the models who get into this business do it for the quick bucks! If they wanted to be catalog models or runway models or swimsuit models, they would have gone into those industries! The reason they choose porn is because of the easy money.
Now... didn't your mommy and daddy tell you that if something appears too good to be true, it probably is? The porn industry is notorious for being all about the cash -- the models are the fish while the producers are the sharks -- and at the end of the day it ALL comes down to what is written on the contract.
So many girls are so eager to make the quick bucks, even when they understand that their image can be used in any media format portrayed any way the owner sees fit, until the end of time. It's all written in black and white, and the girls sign their contracts with their eyes open.
Then months later, after they've spent the cash and find a new "conservative" boyfriend, they suddenly show up to the studio outraged at the fact that you've made money off of them, call you names, and then full of self-righteous bullshit they demand that you give them back their photos and/or remove them from the websites.
All I can say is: TOO FREAKING BAD -- you had your chance to back out when you were hired, and you didn't. You're a grown-up, live with your consequences! And quit portraying the studios as the demons when YOU are the one that signed your rights away!
The girl should be blaming HERSELF, not the industry! I'm so sick of this bullshit excuse!
By the way... I was talent for three years, shot oodles of content, and don't blame ANY of the studios for taking advantage of me.
