    Curious, how much do you think Playboy is worth?

    Congrats to Lens & Playboy... win/win situation. Too many people mis-reading it as "ONLY" $12M. There's more money down the pipeline based on performance & revenue goals/growth. $12M may not be a lot in mainstream, but in Adult, it's one of the largest deals out there... can't wait to see who buys Playboy.
    After I posted that, it got me thinking:

    Now that the info regarding the cost of Playboy's acquisition of Adult.com is out there ($12M+)... what do you think Playboy is worth? Accdg to Yahoo Financial, Playboy has a Market Cap of $502.70M. What are the other large players in Adult? Are there any players in the Adult industry large enough to buy them? or should I start saving up now and buy them when I hit my first billion.

          Damn I would never have thought they were worth that much ... they got a very strong brand ... but the magazines don't work that much anymore.

                      I'm not counting other people's money. I'm analyzing the adult industry for my blog/news site. Thought it would be a great discussion topic, relevant, current, and business related. There are only a handful of public adult-related companies and this topic interests me and others. I have associates in the financial world and they are always chatting about going over to the "dark side".
