I'm on no high horse. Funny, but that's exactly what I think of the people who bash hunting because they think it's cruel or something.
The killing also has a purpose here. You think you can just walk around and kill any bear you see in Canada for kicks? They have hunting seasons and specified limits. They have to be hunted to some degree to avoid overpopulation, which can result in all sorts of problems. Look it up. Same thing happens around my area with deer. Even with the controlled hunting, the amount of deer/car wrecks around here are what keep the auto body places in business.
FYI, leather seats are a hell of a lot easier to keep clean than cloth seats. If shit gets spilled on them, just wipe them down.
