I don't know him personally so this has nothing to do with him, but the "secret" that many others have utilized:

For some without the perfect genetics, strong stimulant type drugs (many female models and strippers know this) over a long period of time works as well, but the person's face can start to look aged and gaunt around 30 something years old as well, but it is a way to maintain a paper thin skin look.

Iggy was always one of the most freakishly washboard ripped skinny guys around no matter as he got older.
