I love it when a movie helps to popularize slang, and it couldn't be better timing than for my buddy BobG and his site

Quote:
"I've never heard of the word 'cougar,'" laughed Barkin, who admitted that the "Ocean's" slang eluded her.
A "cougar" happens to be a slang term describing an older woman who preys on younger men, but Barkin didn't fully realize what she was signing on for when she accepted the role as Al Pacino's right hand woman, Abigail Sponder.
"They didn't tell me [about the 'cougar'], of course," she remarked. "They just asked me if I'd like to be in the movie, and I said 'yes.' I didn't even know that scene existed, because it did not exist in the script I read. It was something that, um, evolved."
