                                      I go all out when I'm there... and my only requirement for eating at a sushi place is that they don't use immitation crab (it's sad how many places use it0

                                              "Lots of food"? Sushi is great because it tastes great and the whole idea is to take it easy and not eat too much because of the small bits. I don't think sushi deserves to be washed away with "lots of beer" either...

                                                  I'm not talking about getting drunk, but I'll order a 22 ounce asahi and sometimes sake as well - it really enhances the sushi experience in my opinion.

                                                  I might start with some miso soup and soybeans and then have a crunchy roll (with real crab of course). Follow that with a spicy lobster roll and some saltwater eel. Then to finish it off maybe some fresh ahi.

                                                  It's not necessarily a huge volume of food, but a lot of variety - which is what's great about it.
