Valve amp guitar players step inside...

I just bought a new amp ...

I previously (well, still do) owned a Marshall JCM900 4500 head and 1936 2x12" Cab ...

sounded great. Big sound ... etc etc...

But I went into the guitar shop last week and played on the new Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 head through the VM Cab loaded with G12C's ... sounded ... amazing !

So I bought it.

Over $2000 ... but well worth the cash !!!

It has a smooooooth tone, and two dynamic ranges, with the top one kicking in an extra preamp of gain ... sounds awesome.

I just thought I'd tell people ... dunno why. But I know there's a few guitarists on here

Oh... btw, I went with the 50 Watt .... reason I didn't go with the 100 is because the 100 has more head room ... making it harder to break the sound up ... plus ... the 50 blew my fucking face off ... it's sERRRIOUSLy loud ! No need for the 100 unless you're playing arenas!
