    Lifetime Membership How much?

    Someone asked me what I charge for a lifetime membership to my site.
    Here are my money order membership prices:
    1 month = $25.00

    3 month = $65.00

    6 month = $120.00

    1 year = $200.00

    What do you think I should tell him for a lifetime membership?

      $500?? $1000?? Not a clue. Totally just spitballing.

      I think it's probably BEST to explain to him that the nature of the business simply doesn't allow for that type of membership.

      Perhaps offer him a discounted rate of buy 2 years, get a third year free.

                              Lifetime memberships are dangerous. If you decide to quit your site in 2 years (and a LOT can happen in two years), the customer has good grounds to demand a refund.

Make it sound like you're looking out for his best interests and he'll thank you.

                                                                  Damn.... that's some cheap membership prices. My monthly is $34.99, and my 3 month is $79.99. Can't imagine going back below $30 for a single month, but then again they get over 100 hours of exclusive video.
