I hit up some guy last night asking him if he was the bro (he claimed to know who it was). He told me I was the bro (I thought that was amusing). So he tells me how the IP for a site linked to on the Bro blog is the same as some of my jobs site and non-adult domains I have on a virtual machine. But I didn't tell him it was a virtual machine (where the IP is shared or anything else, I let him blow his wad).
Next they tell me they want a link trade on Bromasters but I tell them I can't give a link on a site that isn't mine. They tell me they are not rats and just want a link trade. After I get home today I see I have two emails asking for the linktrade, I start suspecting that maybe they are trying to extort the "bro" into a link trade. I can't give what I don't have.
Since I didn't respond to my personal emails while working I guess they got upset or thought I was brushing them off. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a pretty reserved guy both online and offline. As funny as some of the bro stuff is, I can't take credit for what is not mine. Sorry guys, I guess you'll have to try someone else for your link trade.
