          when i tried the atm was not able to connect to the issuing bank

          but 10min before that i used the card to buy dinner.

                  I check my account, and it shows a "0" balance, and I should have about 500$ I called them, and they say that they are upgrading the system, and to call back in 15 min.

                              I think five threads on the front page of GFY are more than enough. :-/ I'm showing a zero balance too, but it's happened often enough that I'm not worried about losing my money (much).
