First of all I would stop worrying too much about it, and instead of trying to look slick - to look comfortable. Nothing impresses a girl more than a man who doesn't try 'too hard' and just wears some basic good looking clothes. You don't really need a costume in my opinion. Just some nice stylish clothes will more than do the job. Once you have done the basic grooming and look clean, shaven and smell fresh its your personality that will make or unmake you.
Teasing and playing with these girls cocky/funny style will get you the gold.
Also I really liked david deangelos double your dating. This guy gets it..
