Hey everyone-
I'm just hanging out and watching TV for the next 45 min. I was thinking about a lot of great help and advice I've recieved from others, so I thought maybe I could be of help to others...

So, Ive noticed there are a lot of gay sites where IMHO they get terminology wrong or use the wrong pics, text, etc... I also know that a lot of the straight linklists/TGP offer gay traffic, but there are a lot of great gay only sites that do as well which straight webmasters might not be aware of.

So ask me anything you want about the gay adult market or gay culture in general ;)

I'll do my best to give you some good advice and give you the right leads...

the guys look straight, but arent that hot... at least to me. The design is very colorful and makes me think of the twink niche, so I dont think the models match the color scheme.

Biggest niches... I don't think I'm big enough to answer. However, regular Hardcore, Twinks and the whole "Straight Guy" thing could be the top 3.

If you know how to work it Bears, interracial and leather can do quite well.

Also, gay ebony/thug converted the best for me ;)

In terms of being underserved, I think yes. There arent as many exclusive content sites, and the only good ones are gay owned & operated. Many of the big programs dont have great content, except for topbucks.

I also think the gay solo teen niche could really explode like the solo girl sites have.... someone could do very well if they had an exclusive model for one ;)

cute guys, looks very convincing especially the amateur ish video caps. However, I would do all that kind of video, or have all the episodes in the style of the photo shoot one to make it more convincing - otherwise the content looks random

Another thing that might be helpful. A lot of guys have a preference for content from one studio or another. Ones to check out:

? Bel Ami - the best twinks and most popular. Their program is http://www.belamicash.com

Make Sure to Check Out Banana Guide - they have a lot of traffic and promote a lot of gay only sponsors, so you can see what they reccomend.

Also check out their Site Reviews - Its very helpful!

how derogatory is the term FAG when used in gay marketing... it's part of one of my domains, and I have no desire to use the domain, it's something I picked up in a big drop and a gay friend told me it's great, but questionable. last thing I want to do is insult my target market.

Frankly, its pretty derogatory... some gay guys use it between themselves, others dont.

also, for marketing purposes I wouldnt use it at all - even if its gay owned I think most of the gay audience wouldnt be responsive to it.

What is the domain and what is it for? that might shed some more light for me....

As far as content goes, it looks decent for the theme of the site. However, on some design notes there is a lot of text and I dont think most surfers will read it.

While I dont know what other webmasters would say, but I always think its good to have an image of a really hot model looking directly at the camera - its like they are looking right at the surfer and are flirting or cruising them.

Also, you might want to play up the kind of "naughty" aspects of it. Some text from your site "The shy straight stud you see at the movies making out with his girlfriend." - its good text, so play up that angle and give the site a sexy, forbidden angle... like its the surfer and the model's dirty little secret.

then again just my two cents

While the design isn't amazingly good looking, the text is large and the set up really explains easily the whole concept of each site - that is generally good for all paysites, gay or straight.

Also, the content looks exclusive - if it isnt I doubt its saturated. Brazilian guys are good looking, and a lot of gay guys I know like latin men. Their content reflects this and the models on the site seem to be really into the sex.

As far as best Niche I would say "old on young" - it never fails.

Also if you can get the content, REAL amateur pics of real trailor trash converts like crazy. The rougher the better

I think you need a more traditional tour with previews of the pictures and other content you have inside the members area.

At first when I came to http://www.kastlearchives.com/scrunt/main.html
I thought it was a linklist and just scrolled down and saw all the recip banners on the bottom.

Mmmm - I think you're being kind - The only porn I saw on the main page was str8 - Not good for a gay site.

Employ someone to do a site design for you - you have some great content and could do REALLY well with it.

If you open an affiliate prog and allow me to design my own site Id join for sure.
