So to clarify my position - I surely care about the industry, although in this particular case I wonder if all threads like this have ANY effect at all? I mean, GFY is surely filled with this drama, but does this word spread really across the adult industry community, where the majority of people don't look at the boards at all? And even on GFY, all this Zango talk only has like 15-20 same people talking about it, and the silent majority does what? Some of them drop AFF, but the majority does nothing.... I think at this rate it will take not 2, not 3, not 5, not 10, but like 30 years for this industry to implement better ethics or business practices. And by then we will be alredy dead or long retired.
What i mean by this? To really harm AFF one should sue them (not sure if there's a ground for it though, anyway, im not a lawyer) or hack them for a week and redirect to *******
All threads like this have minimal impact on the situation.
Same with affiliate codes hijacking shit - some people say it's affecting already 30% of affiliate traffic, but what is exactly being done about it?
And how many webmasters exactly dropped AFF becuase of Zango or being affiliated with torrents? If iI had to guess, I'd say not more than 50, and the effect was likely minimal as well.

i can just say that I hope that there are some people trying to solve certain industry problems backstage... because most threads on GFY are forgotten after a week and their biggest effect is that a few guys were able to get good sig spots
