I didn't accuse anyone of fabricating anything, and I certainly would not expect to see a picture of the accident or Nikki in a hospital bed (not that some media outlets would hesitate to publish such photos if they had the opportunity to).
As KB and Baddog alluded to, getting the word out through the mainstream and independent media will draw much more attention to Nikki's plight than simply posting on web boards can.
Since KB could cite no mainstream press accounts, I have to assume that there have been none as of yet. It's good to hear that he is getting on this since by doing so he can probably do more to help Nikki financially then he could simply by opening his own wallet.

My few posts on anything relating to Nikki appear only in Adam's original thread, where I offered my condolences and a link to a non-profit company that other uninsured people in the adult industry could use to obtain relatively inexpensive health insurance.
If Nikki's bills are going to be as high as has been suggested by Adam, then fundraising will be aided by getting the word out through the mass media. That's what KB is intending to do. Or are you suggesting that he not do that?

I mean there was 2-3 threads asking for money before there was an update on her condition. I don't think anyone is questioning whether it happened or not, I'm pretty sure it did happen. Honestly, I don't think KBizzle would come to GFY and tarnish his reputation by posting something that he didn't know was 100% true. Because no news agency picked it up doesn't really mean much.
A lot of people have never heard of Nikki Nova. Unlike Ron Jeremey, Jenna, and a couple of other "Stars" of the industry, she was not popular enough to be newsworthy. I forgot her name but a short time ago an adult model died in a car accident (She was good friends with Ivy) and I don't think that hit one single mainstream news site. Doesn't mean that it didn't happen, just meant that the mainstream news didn't find it newsworthy.
I understand the skepticism, do a search on my past threads regarding this issue. However, just because something doesn't make the news doesn't mean it's not true.

I personally don't care if someone is bullshitting me regarding the need for cash, etc. If the story moves me, then I send money. I'm sure the many homeless people I meet on the street are making up stories. If the person seems sincere and I have an extra dollar, I give it. Jesus, I gave and gave to a certain hacker for five years only to discover he was a conman and a liar. I am a soft touch for a sob story.

I think that it is possible that through the efforts of KB, some skeptics will be proven wrong, and that more funds will be raised. If that happens, that is a good thing.
