I'm from Denmark so I'll give my two cents on this one.
I read an article today that stated the situation is pretty much under control and that it's really only 4-6 individuals who has kept on with this behaviour - there were some shops that got their windows crashed this weekend but that was pretty much it.
This statement in the comments is pretty funny to me:
"Denmark is one of the most tolerant nations on the planet, in terms of tolerance toward immigrants."
Yeah right, on the surface most people are but the truth is that many danes are short sighted mofos who are afraid of foreigners. There's been a hetz going against muslims in Denmark for quite some time - some of it real-deal-in-your-face-we-don't-like-you-stuff and some was unintentional. But I think that this is a reaction of young souls who feel they're hated on by a society that does not understand them - sure their religion plays a part of it but this has nothing to do with any muslims vs. christians bullshit.

What this boils down to are cultural differences and the inability of people to respect the traditions of other ethnic groups - something that danish people and quite a few other countries seems to have trouble with.Comment

If any of us where to go to an arab country we would be fully expected to integrate into an arab way of living but in our countries we are supposed to welcome these different cultures with open arms, all in the name of 'DIVERSITY'
