Any Nikki Nova Articles In Mainstream Press or Independent Stories in Adult Press?

Considering Nikki's status in the adult industry, and the buzz generated by KingAdam on GFY and other boards about Nikki's horsing accident (leading to severe injuries and a medically induced coma), I am somewhat surprised that I have not yet seen a single article in the mainstream press or an independently corraborated story in the adult press about this incident which occured days ago.

If one was seeking to raise awareness or funds, I would think the mainstream press and adult press would be logical places to spread the word about what happened and how people can help.

Given KingAdam's great concern in raising funds for Nikki, I would be amazed that he would overlook these channels. Maybe I just missed the articles. Can anyone else post a URL of an independent account of the Nikki Nova tragedy?

I saw a blurb on AINews but it was mostly a press release fundraising statement with no obvious independent reseach or corraboration. Aside from that...nada.

The main reason I raise this issue is that in the past when an adult industry person was involved in some newsworthy event (positive or negative), I have generally been able to read more about it from various sources besides message boards.

I wish Nikki a speedy and full recovery...

I didn't call anyone a scammer. I am simply trying to find independent news media coverage about this incident.

Adam said he has been advised by lawyers not to discuss who might be liable, etc. I thought an independent news organization, not subject to the same constraints, might be able to investigate and shed more light on this subject for people concerned about Nikki.

Really? Search Christopher Reeve, Madonna, or even Prince Charles, plus Horse or Accident, and see how many results you get.

Think the media doesn't care about porn stars? Try adding the words "accident", "horse", "hospital" or "coma" to adult or porn star. Millions of results pop up.

If someone with details was feeding anyone from the media this story, it should show up on the radar somewhere.

Adam is related to Kevin and Darren Blatt (KBizzle and D$ / D-Money respectively), and they sure know how to get mainstream publicity. I'm sure by now they could have helped Adam to get the story out there, even with his lawyer's restrictions...

Granted, Jenna Jameson and Ron Jeremy are probably more household names than Nikki Nova, but "Nikki Nova" still generates over 1.25 million results in Google.

Although Nikki's site is at around 175,000 in ranking on Alexa (nothing to write home about), it has certainly spiked in recent days, no doubt due to all of the board chatter.

I'm certain that there would be at least one stringer reporter at some legitimate news organization that would submit a story about this, if given the tip/lead.

It's probably already happened and I just missed it, so if anyone else has a relevent link, please post it.

I am on the case-
I have sent out a few press releases as of this morning and I am awaiting some responses form some major media outlets.

I ahve been in touch with Adam on a regular basis and am fully aware of the circumstances involving the accident, as well as her medical condition.

She is going to need a lot of therapy when she pulls through this tragedy-
Iam happy she is turningthe corner, but everyone still needs to very cautious-she is in ICU and in ICU anything can happen. She is being monitored closely.

Hopefully you'll be hearing about NIkki on major radio shows tomorrow morning.

well, she was injured at a "photoshoot" apparently in an outdoor location.

so 3 things were present that day: a girl, a horse, and a digital camera.

it's no big stretch to post one image from the photoshoot, even a test image to provide credibility to a solicitation.

but of course, i'm just a practical guy.

My financial situation has nothing to do with NIkki's condition. I am donating what I can for Nikki- and for the record, Adam is not a blood relative- but he is related through marriageand my brother and I brought Adam into this business years ago and introduced him to Jeff from Bustyamateurs.com

all real photographers do this, especially if model fees, or animal or location rentals are involved.

i don't think anyone needs to see a pix of a girl in a hospital.

but a simple pic of the situation PRIOR to the accident would simply corroborate the narrative.

I also posted a smililar thread last night. I would just rather read real news as serious as this from a reputable news source and not have to deal with all the baggage that comes with GFY.

I've been away from the computer for several hours...I didn't expect to come back to a rehash of other threads.

I didn't accuse anyone of fabricating anything, and I certainly would not expect to see a picture of the accident or Nikki in a hospital bed (not that some media outlets would hesitate to publish such photos if they had the opportunity to).

As KB and Baddog alluded to, getting the word out through the mainstream and independent media will draw much more attention to Nikki's plight than simply posting on web boards can.

Since KB could cite no mainstream press accounts, I have to assume that there have been none as of yet. It's good to hear that he is getting on this since by doing so he can probably do more to help Nikki financially then he could simply by opening his own wallet.
