    Im in agony.....

    My eye has flared up again - I get a type of 'cold sore' in it and I have never felt pain so bad - its worse than ever.

    I am thinking of going to the ER, but you feel such an idiot going there with a sore eye.

                          No, its a type of the herpes virus (not the sexual one) - anyone who has had a cold sore on the lip will tell you how bad it is.

                                      Kind of a misnomer to say it's not the sexual one. You can transfer cold sores to genitals, or as you've found out, even your eyes.
