You make some nice points, one of the toughest things to do is to separate the business from the personal. What you said is logical.

However, at the end of the day, we are all human. Please make sure we are not sending them traffic. I would like to think that our company is one with the industry, not against it; and I can't see any point in supporting that type of activity. I do not personally know Nikki Nova, but I do know that her situation is not a matter to be laughed at. I also know that although this board can be a rough place, it is still sensitive when things such as this arise.

I am sure the guys at AMC are nice people, however, these marketing schemes are old. I may not see eye to eye with all the people around here, but I do know one thing, when times are tough we behave as one tight knit family. I don't feel that his actions represent that.

I try my hardest to always be diplomatic. Hopefully this did not sound insulting, that was not the intention.

I believe you reap what you sow, but Karma's bullshit. Do something about it and "be" his karma, or stop whining. I personnally like the way nofx markets himself and pushes your buttons, as he would have no interest in pleasing every last one of you. Depending on what position you want to play in the adult field, sensationalism CAN be a plus. I do not know about his role in AMC though; I believe he should focus on what he's good at since pissing off people will eventually destroy the credibility the program has amongst SERIOUS webmasters. May be start another Rotten.com, I dont know. Something extreme, that's for sure.

I believe the term "karma" has come to be tied in closely with the old saying "What goes around comes around", and to a lesser extent it is also connected to "You reap what you sew".

I don't see it as so much of a spiritual mythical concept as I think of it as more of a "you get what you give" kind of thing.... because life has a funny way of evening things out with most people, and this so-called "karma" can and often does indeed come back to bite you right on the ass.

To that end, karma is indeed the biggest, baddest, motherfucking bitch in the history of bitches.

And to reiterate, I don't dislike NOFX, nor do I dislike AMC. Every program and or webmaster has a level of tolerance. I would never work for a program that was not "one" with this industry, as well as supportive of the greater causes. We have always been on the forefront of assisting with charities (many things of that nature). There have been a few recent tragedies whereas everyone from Epassporte to ARS has shown a level of compassion that makes me proud to be a part of this industry.

I consider us a part of a family here. Whether Nikki is a member of GFY or not, she is a part of this family and I would never want to be associated with causing her or her loved ones any additional pain.

Plenty of others in the other threads, Dig. People don't trust NOFX with their money, traffic or confidential info. Many just don't want to deal with him at all, and thus avoid AMC.

Nikki Nova was in a horrible accident during a shoot. A horse fell on her ? Brain bleeding, etc.. and on GFY it's "acceptable" to laugh about it, make fun of it. So to be fair, it's not just AMC that approves but also Team GFY.

I back you 100% Cory on this. The kind of shit some programs are pulling for views is getting out of hand ultimatly they are accountable for the BS.

This industry is still a tight nit industry, I know the way I behave sometimes makes it a question but I at least know which bridges are good to burn.

It's the hardest choice and sometimes it is just for the better of all.

I would not personally post the way you do, just as you would not be as diplomatic as me.

However, this is still a family and I consider you a part of that, even if we disagree from time to time. I don't agree with Sleazy all the time either, but I am confident that he has a good heart, just like you.

I don't think people realize how much of a family this place can be. You can burn the wrong bridges when you cross the line.

this really looks like the annual I-was-bullied-in-high-school-and-now-I-judge-people-on-the-internet convention. Why is it that important that you make your opinion about nofx known? Why do you even care how emotionnally disturbed he can be?? A few smart comments on here, but it mostly looks like he just stole your lunch money and your complaining to a higher authority. More power/views to nofx i guess. Some of you people are clueless about how you add fuel to the fire;can't you just accept the fact he does not live in the same universe as you, and that so far this shit has worked for him? He does not care how many people who probably never wouldve dealt with AMC anyways say they won't in the future; what he does care about his the commission he gets from smaller up-and-coming webmasters who sign up under him because you guys make such a CELEBRITY out of him. I honestly think you guys need to stop taking everything so personal, it gets the worst out of you.
