dig, I don't know if they have any names for sale... not sure. The link I posted was to a short list of my domains for sale at Afternic. Here:

If you see anything you like, let me know now because I'm considering rolling them up into 1 portfolio for someone.

I made a bid of 500 on one of them already

        http://www.afternic.com/names.php?best=1&u=60281

check those out, anything interesting? I also have some adult domains in there but you have to check the box to see adult listings in order to list them I think

                      of course it will.

Domains brokers keep selling them to each other for profit. How many times does a domain like that get sold before a actual site is built anyway?

Regardless in the end it really doesn't matter if the domain you built on cost $600,000 or $6.

                          hmm... we'll see.

A domain is only as good as the site that goes behind it. The only value it has comes from the buyer's plans to capitalize. Sure it will get good natural traffic now and in the future and that right there has a marketing and advertising value which may far outweigh any costs in acquiring such a domain.
You deserve to make more money. I'll help you do that.

Be careful starting business threads on GFY, you'll get it locked in favour of would you hit it threads.

Well - Pr2, 2800 on a WT (so will equate to low typins) - unknown whether google likes it. currently un-branded.

To be honest - I think it would be equally as hard to get that branded as it was adult friend finder.

Therefore - looks like a domain you could earn from long term - but theres plenty of those about anyway going for just 10$.

Hmm - Id sooner have 100,000 doms than 1.

                                  he's talking about this:

The MODS closed down (read why) the Domain MegaThread so I launched DomainNews.com. The barebones site is up & don't worry MODs, there's no board. Email me if you want to be a contributing journalist. dev^(AT)^DomainNews^(.)^com

Anyway back to the Lust.com domain auction, 1 hour left and counting.

Lots of what you say is true, but from my personal experience... I buy brandability because I have development plans and if i resell I try not to sell to domainers because most of them nowadays, gotta love them, have to buy them for ten cents on the dollar. I just tried to buy a new associates domain, and he wanted 6 figures, and even though he wanted my domains, he could only buy them for under $5K each or $10K trade value. and his domain gets ZERO type-ins to under 100 a month max... but it's gold.

but even AdultFriend Finder acquired the domain Passion.com... not sure what it was earlier (checked thru internet archive) but we all know what they're "branding" it as now.

                                    .
