Speedy recovery!

I had a friend of mine go through a similar situation falling off a horse. My friend had to re-learn everything in life including walking and speech.

On behalf of everyone at Weg, I wish her a speedy recovery and send our blessings.

If it was for a shoot then didn't they have insurance to cover any liabilities that would occur during the shoot? If one of my employees operates one piece of equipment then I have to insure them out the ass to protect my company in case they get hurt. One of my employees got into an accident in the work vehicle and all of his medical and therapy bills were paid by my insurance, not his.

If King Adam and his company didn't have insurance then they are in some deep shit. Nikki's family can sue the fuck out of them and get all of her medical bills paid and some. I honestly don't understand why they would come here asking for donations to help pay her medical bills when it was in fact their fault for not thinking about it before putting her onto a horse. I own horses and know firsthand that they are volatile and spook easily.

I sympathize with her and hope she fully recovers but to come to GFY asking for donations to help pay her medical bills because of an accident due to someone not thinking, seems a bit extreme. If they have insurance then she's covered. If she doesn't have insurance then I think they should cover it out of their pockets, not ours.

Was what you had to say so important that it needed it's own thread? Sorry for the rant, but your post was VERY one-sided and seemed like you were trying to sway people into believing that Joel from SplitInfinity did something terrible or people who asked honest, sincere & obvious questions that you yourself would've asked if you didn't know someone well. Just because we "know" Nikki because we've seen her all over the web does not mean we KNOW her or Adam so we all needed different levels of verification.
