    i need a new phone gimme some suggestions (cingular)

    topic says it all. i broke my fuckin blackberry now i need a new one whats a good phone?

          Ditto here - I can only use Cingular and need something with a decent web browser. It looks like the only Blackberry available (at least in my area) is the Blackjack? It looks kinda ancient compared to some of the other ones. I may just wait for the iPhone

                  I have an 8700 BlackBerry but just bought a BlackJack because it was smaller. I do like the BlackBerry Pearl also. Pete-KT moved from the Blackberry to the BlackJack and he loves it. I'm just starting to get used to it.

                          i have cingular as well and I was looking at getting the blackjack.

                          I'm waiting for someone to tell me how it is before getting it though. If you're an early adopter though, you should check that one out.

                                      have had the blackjack since it came out, very awesome phone
                                      small and light, battery life could be longer.. do a search, you can turn off the 3g networking to extend the batter life and find tons of mods

                                                  I like the browser on my Treo 650 better than my Blackjack. The phone quality on the Blackjack is better, I think. Both are inferior for e-mail compared to a Blackberry. Wait for the 8300, if email is a concern?

                                                  I'm reserving judgement on the iPhone. Supposedly there is going to be a surprise feature on it. It would have to have the most badass touchscreen ever for me to like it.

                                                      The BlackBerry Pearl works very well w/ Cingular. I am happy thus far, although I am eagerly waiting for the Black Berry Curve [blackberrycurve.com]. It is sexy!

                                                                      He's in Stockton, 3g is launched there. Find something cheap to hold you till the 8900 or the iPhone. The "suprise" feature I'm aware of is of interest to all of us, not sure if it's friendly though...
