    Is the iPhone really coming out in June?

    I've heard rumors that it won't be out till early July. I'm most definitely getting one when it comes out but I'm curious if anyone has heard any insider info.

      No idea, but I'm sure the demand will be pretty high for it upon release. I know many carriers are a bit pissy about the iPhone as the carriers won't make bank on their downloadable options to upgrade other phones with mp3's, ringtones etc

          yep, not sure how their going to fulfill the demand. I heard the same about ringtones and mp3's, kinda makes the iPhone the holy grail of phones for the all the carriers.

              The iPhone looks cool, but you can bet that many others are cloning the same idea as we live and breathe with equally cool gadget phones.

                              Yea, they came to an arrangement with Cisco.. both their products will carry the iPhone name, if I recall correctly.

                                  I remember Apple unveiling the iPhone in the middle of talks with Cisco before they had come to an agreement... understandably, the people at Cisco were all like "wtf?!"

                                              The iPhone will be in stores on June 15. I have a friend who works for one, and they aren't allowed to take any vacation time for the 2 weeks following its release because of the demand.

                                                      thnx for the insider info, sounds legit to being your friend can't take a vacay for 2 weeks after the release. I bet peeps will be waiting in line to get an iphone on the 15th..

                                                          Actually Apple patented pretty much every thing about the iPhone, it will be extremly hard to clone it.
