                          Those aren't actually modded beetles I don't believe. They run them here at Langley on saturday nights and they call them the "Legends Series". They are sort of frankenstein type little cars, as in, hacked and welded together, but they are fast as fuck. Most of those light little bastards sport a V8. Sort of like Outlaw cars but...weirder...

                                                                          I think you are right. It looks like a Legend. Depending on what track you are on they usually have a 350 on 15" slicks (tires on that one are harder street tires) and a straight pipe. They usually run VP racing fuel and weigh about 2000 lbs with about 500hp. Most of them are running a 550 downdraft carb and some tracks will let them run fuel injection.

                                                                          Fun cars. The north eastern featherlight/all-star modifieds are awesome too. 350 FI on a 1500lbs open wheel frame sucked down to about 4 inches off the ground the ground.
