Well, depending on how the flat tax was implemented it might not be that harsh on poor people and they wouldn't have to count on trickle down economics. Listen we already have a rebate system it's called Earned Income Credit. And then you still need an IRS and to have people make sure people get their rebates and to check for people scamming the system. How is this simplfying things?
The whole idea that someone gives the government $1000 over the coruse of a year then the governement gives it all back to them is retarded. Why not just not have them pay it in the first place? How many tax $$$ are going into creating jobs for people to recieve the $1000 and then to send it back to the taxpayer?
