Batch Video Convertor - need assistance

I need something that can take say a wmv or raw avi and convert it to the following formats or as many as possible.

    wmv
    psp
    zune
    ipod m4v
    real media
    mpeg
    .mov
    avi

In both low and high access levels i.e. dial up and broadband.

Also needs to be able to take a full scene and cut it into 5 min chunks.

Hey man, the BEST thing I have found so far that maintains professional encodings is CleanerXL

I tried xilisoft but it never achieved great encoding levels without severely tweaking the settings....cleanerxl works right out of the box

it is pricey, but SOOOOOO worth it

plus it is one of the ONLY encoding applications on the market that TRULY uses dual and quad processors....lots say they do, but in reality don't use a dual and quad to the fullest

Professional apps-(expensive) Cleaner XL, Canopus Procoder & Sorenson Squeeze can probably do all of those formats. Smart Video Encoder is a shareware app and I think it can do most of those.

My encoding speed with Cleaner XL got cut in half when I upgraded from a 3.0 Ghz so-called dual core Pentium D to a 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo pc. Cleaner XL is still kind of a clunky program in some ways, but it does work well for batch video encoding.

man, when I went from a single Athlon core to a Athlon dual core my speed tripled

I have never experienced any clunkiness to it, in fact I was so frustrated with Sorenson constantly crashing and freezing up I had to find something new

Sorenson is by far the worst coded app I have ever used for encoding
