        The trick answer is: 2. There's one long groove on each side.

        However, if you want to count each ridge as grooves, it's relative to the number of songs and length, but when they first came out, they could contain up to 260 grooves per side (up to 30 minutes per side)

                        Also, the grooves depend on who's on the record. If it's James Brown or P-Funk, it could be full of grooves. If it's the Carpenters, it wouldn't have any.
