I hate even thinking about it because even though I know I won't care at the time I don't like thinking about either. My husband very clearly wanted to be cremated and I did what he wanted to be done but I wouldn't let them burn him until I was away from the church.Comment

One long term prob with burial is the amount of space it takes up.. i know in japan and some other places they have started with vertical burial..
On another track.. until recently (having attended the australasian cemeteries & crematoria conference) i never realised how much money was in the death industry and how many businesses you would not usually associate with such an industry profit from it. Well, why not.. it's an industry with an every growing market base and if it ever dries up you have other things to worry about..Comment
