Because I agree with most of what Ron Paul stands for. I particularly like his stance on foreign policy, avoiding foreign political entanglements but building strong trade and financial ties with other countries. Domestically, he's for property rights, lower spending, and privacy. And he's not just saying these things to get voters, his voting record is consistent with his views. He seems like the real deal.
