Dagwolf you can skip the bank process and try a company like beneficial. They do small loans all of the time, typically at a fairly high interest rate. Unlike most they do not have you proove your income and so on. They also have no early payment penalty, so you can make the minimum payment when you want to, or pay as much as you want up to the entire balance off when you want to.
Even a very low credit score will get you at least 6-8k same day or less than 24 hours.

By the way in my state, I could not make such a loan to you. The interest rate you are giving would make the loan itself illegal. That in itself would/could make not only the interest but the entire loan amount void if it needed to be processed in court or was challenged.

If you are truly in need of money, getting $1,000 would be a piece of cake.
