iTunes only....Apple purposely did this. There is no way around it.

Thats why it took so long for a PC version.

yes, the 6 gb . I want to buy it, but if i must to use a software before i dont want it. I just want something easy and fast: Copy Paste .
why they can't do something so easy ?

What is wrong with using itunes? It's not bulky software, and it's free, and the CD comes with any ipod purchase. I see it being 29.03 MB on my PC. It's just Apple's version if "Windows Media Player". Is it so bad you have to install a very small media player that you're actually thinking of not getting the ipod because of it?

yes. I dont want to use any software. I just want to copy paste the mp3.
There are a lot of mp3 players with this option. But, the nano looks better.
I just want a mp3 player, with a nice desing, with copy paste option.
i dont want to use software. For example, when i go to my friends's house, i want to copy some tracks from his computer. But i dont want to install the software in each computer. Why they just dont make it more easy ?
why will i need to use this software ?

Jeez, just bring a blank disc or two instead. Stick with the iPod, it's worth any additional "headaches".

Because that is illegal. Why would Apple support it?

You should probably use ituns dude, that copy and paste thing doesn't work. The ipod will need to forumlate a playlist via itunes.

If you don't want to use itunes there are other alternatives to be found. Try looking at www.ipodlounge.com -- that site has become pretty spammy but if you search around you can find the software section

Just use Ephod if you don't like iTunes. You won't ever be able to copy 'n paste the music-files on the Pod. It has something to do with the way the iPod creates playlists afaik

There is some software that lets you do that. It is not free though. Seen them talk about it on TechTV one day.

where is the difference with copy&paste from explorer into another explorer dir to copy&paste from explorer into itunes? I do not get it..
