    I probably shouldn't post this here......

    A certain anti-porn site has adopted a giant blue cartoonish elephant as their mascot. They have even made a GIANT balloon to set up outside of their various events.

    I am currently voicing my concerns over their choice to do this.

    Big blue elephant balloons attract children, not grown men who watch porn.

      hmm.. Did some quick checking and found it.. Since the same group also attends adult events I agree it sets a BAD precedent and will possibly attract children which any legit person in the industry would frown at. It seems they are setting a bad example in such a case.

                  That group is also part of a larger movement that seems to have a long history of molesting children for sexual gratification. So this news is not a surprise to me.

                          I am a firm believer in making dam sure before you bitch about something publically you must make sure the complaint has been made to the offening party first. In other words call them on the poor choice to their face and if they then do nothing ,... we will rake them over the hottest coals. But until they have been given the shadow of doubt and perhaps it is an oversight I have no more to say. Just talk to them b4 you slander them please.

                          This is clearly a bad choice and kudos to you for seeing it just do the right thing and talk to them first. If we make mistakes as a group or individual I am sure you would appreciate the same courtesy!!

                                      Well....I've posted a few responses about it on their blog. Unfortunately that's about the best I can do for now.

                                      If that elephant ever makes it's way to Portland, It's likely to be severely vandalized by a friend of mine who finds it more distasteful than I do.
