The funny thing about women, and this case is a perfect example, is that sometimes they don't get it either. They make a rule that they don't fully understand themselves. One of the wonderful (and challenging) things about any non-vanilla relationship is that the rules and boundaries can be totally unique. Once you step away from traditional monogamy, you get to (must) make your own rules. Sometimes they may not even seem rational...but being honest about desires and feelings is a pretty amazing place for a relationship to be. Kudos to you both!
