you do realize that you're the only one who sees your name there right?

when I look at Smokeys sig, i see my name.

when juicy looks at Smokeys sig, hes sees his name

when Lensman looks at Smokeys sig, he sees his name.

so on and so on.

No, I did not realize that.

That might explain why the 'hello' in front, but making 'my' (when I view it) ID a link to someone else's site doesn't make sense.

If it's just a 'hello x' script - fine. (as you say, no harm no foul).

Nope not on dialup.
But my ip and the ip shown to the world are different my ISP have a firewall between me and the outside world.
Or atleast thats how I understand it

ok well, posting them ( ip 2 name ) and recording them are 2 different steps..

First they are recorded , then they are correlated , so check back and it should show your name when the database is re-correlated
