this isn't 1965 - there are single adults living on every street - divorced people, never married people, gay people. why would it be strange for a single man or single woman to give out candy?

Is it right? It's your duty to hand out candy When I lived in my house I would always hand out candy. I sort of miss it now that I'm in a condo, but they have table set up downstairs and I just contribute to that. Besides, (most) people do not know whether you have kids or not lol.
