My sig is an example of a text link (meaning you can click it and be whisked away to another realm upon the net)...whereas some use a banner link (which may or may not do any whisking)...do you see the difference? ;)

Top - Top of screen

Banner - Meaning that there is a banner somewhere near the top'ish' region

Sponsor - Paid for advertising

Pretty self explanatory...but I can see where it could be misread.

Ok ok...Any sponsor you see who has paid for an advertising spot at the top of the board may have larger than normal "sigs" used by either affiliates, paid posters, friends, whores or any combination. Unless your company has a paid spot up top there, you are supposed to adhere to the sig rules outlined on the gfyrules page.

That makes sense, but it would have made more sense if GFY linked to some advertising page in the sig part of the rules page.
